I brought a FitBit a few years ago

I brought a FitBit a few years ago. The count was always off and said I was burning an unreal amount of calories… 3000 cals burnt on a walk to my car? Unlikely. Anyway, turns out there was a recall on my brand so I was told it would be deactivated the following day and I would be refunded £300 to buy a new device in 3-6 weeks. Fast forward about 5 months and I STILL haven’t had a refund. I called the company and they said it he refund if sent externally and they ‘can’t’ do anything as the don’t have contact with them- how ridiculous. The phone line now is cut off so I have no way to contact them. So, overall the device was rubbish, the customer service is awful and I still have no device or news 6 months later. I have now contacted legal advice and will be following up (if I can ever get in contact with someone at FitBit).

Bad quality and poor customer service

The products stop working extremely quickly and the customer service doesn't do much to help you.

Useless

Wanna know the best Fitbit to purchase? That would be a Garmin product. Read the reviews of other Fitbit customers. Their products don't last and they don't stand behind them. I won't bore you with my issue with an Inspire HR but will say that it mirrors all the others that have complained. When you get to the final stage with their customer service you will be offered a 35% discount on a new Fitbit. Who would really want to spend more money again on a Fitbit that won't last? Move on and save yourself some money and guaranteed hassle down the road

Not so Happy Birthday

Foolishly I brought a Fitbit Luxe online rather than going to my local store!!! mistake number one.
I brought the FB Luxe for my wife’s birthday, having ordered it online I then waited for what seemed like a really long time for it to be delivered, it was actually 8 days (even though the website states 2 to 5 days).
The package arrived and I promptly put it away. Today, when my wife opened her one and only present from me, we found that after charging the unit it was faulty.... even after all the nonsense around resetting it was done it was still FAULTY!! so, calling the USA customer service helpline!!! (you got to be kidding, no UK number or free phone number!!) I got through to someone that really didn’t give a dam, and the only help I got was "put it in a package and send it back" this is NOT customer service Fitbit!! I should have been offered an immediate refund so I could go and buy a 'working' replacement today... not have to wait for a broken unit to be returned then wait for another long period of shipping.
So, my advice is don’t buy a Fitbit because if anything goes wrong, they won’t help you. But if you do feel the need to buy one, go to your local store, where you can take it back if you need to.
I'm now going on to all my social media sites to warn everyone about buying from these guys.
What a way to celebrate my wife’s birthday..... thanks FITBIT !!!

New Purchase are replaced with refurbished, even when not used due to fault

I ordered a new Versa 3 early August, when I set up the new watch the clip at the bottom for the strap did not close correctly so I informed Fit bit. There was a bit of confusion due to the device being a gift and being registered under my account, but after a while they accepted and requested a picture and looked to resolve. I received a refurbished device, emailed stating that refurbished to be told that this was not the case, I asked why they put refurbished on the packaging to be advised "We have confirmed that the replacement watch is tested and determined to work, with minimal wear and tear." They escalated and I have waited since the 31st Aug for a reply as part of their escalation process. The watch was to be used for a holiday and a sporting event that has now passed, and when I contact using the chat they say the can't tell me when someone will contact, but they will. Not great, service plus you buy new you expect new? If I'd have used and had the watch for a few months, I understand that "may" be a replacement, this is not the case. Terrible service.

Never Again Fitbit!I have used a Fitbit for approximately…

I have used a Fitbit for approximately 10 years with only minor issues along the way. However, now with my Fitbit Inspire HR it simply stopped working--totally. I called customer service and followed their instructions. The best they could do was to offer me a 35% discount on a new product. I read 18 pages of the very same issue and complaints indicating to me that they have (had) a defective product. In fact the supervisor that I spoke with said that they listened to feedback and no longer sell this model. Yet they would not replace it and only could offer a 35% discount. How ridiculous would it be to purchase another Fitbit product from a company that won't stand behind it's defective products??? I've moved to a Garmin product after reading strong reviews and recommend going there or elsewhere before going anywhere near Fitbit. Buyer Beware!

Do NOT go with Fitbit!

I have been a customer with Fitbit since 2013. I wore my Sense into the pool one time, my sense was working great until I swam with it. Keep in mind they advertise and even have a Swim option on the exercise app within the watch. Stupidly I thought that meant you could swim with it. False advertising it breaks your watch. I called Customer Support their response was sorry here is a 35% off for a new one. I even tried talking to the supervisor after I had already talked to a few other people, she didn't care they used to be so good about their customer service. Now NO THANK YOU will never purchase Fitbit again. They have gone DOWNHILL! Will be switching to another Fit Watch for good. Fitbit never again! Don't buy!

Had a HR less than a 18 months

Had a HR less than a 18 months, first the strap broke then after replacing this the watch simply died. Foolishly bought the Sense and to be fair it’s a pain to swipe to other modes and the step calcs are a little on the low side - not impressed to be fair

I think this watch performs well and…

I think this watch performs well and seems to be mostly accurate. The step-counter seems to be a bit inaccurate on the high side but I'm enjoying the sleep tracking function and the ability to play Pandora offline. I feel like the offline music is slightly misleading though. You can only have up to three offline playlists and it has to be with a paid version of the software, I don't believe that was obvious in any of the descriptions I read before my purchase. The display screen is bright and clear and besides a bit of occasional lag has performed well so far. This was my first smartwatch purchase and overall I'm happy with my purchase. It isn't perfect but it is a great option nonetheless.

Fitbit do not honour their warranty

Bought a Fitbit Sense in Oct 2021 and 2 months ago it stopped giving accurate sleep info because it "stopped getting a consistent heart rate" I tested my Girlfriends Sense and it worked fine.
I contacted Fitbit and was given a complete run around and they now ignore all correspondence.
The strap also broke and they acknowledged a manufacturers fault and sent me a replacement.
I received.....an empty box.
This is a scam company people. Stay away.
